Reflective Essay (without many links since google reader is down in our school)

One of the first assignments that were giving to us in the beginning of English class was to be able to create a blog and write two posts weekly. Writing a blog is Incorporated further than school. Within the writing that we post, we reflect on someone else’s information, major news. not only are we exercising our writing capacity but we are also informing ourselves with knowledge.  Getting used to writing on a regular basis is not difficult a thing. we started with two post per week: one for whatever we please and one to respond to another post. Many people were originally not accustomed to constantly write as much as on a regular basis. Mr. Sutherland set up many goals for us in the beginning of the class. i believe that one of the goals was not only blog, which have been doing on a regular basis, but the point to regularly blog without having an assignment due.
As I student in middle school, I was never accustomed to writing regularly, but by the assignments that are asked of us I have gotten more comfortable and have improved slightly within my writing. The quick writes are small ways that helped me understand to try to cut back and focus more writing since we have a subject and we have to write for ten minutes without stopping. I have learned to try to structure my writing in ways that are simple but make very important changes in the writing, to give the reader a clearer perspective. i learned that when i write.
In reviewing the posts on the blog that I have done I noticed that many of the subjects that my writing did not related to situations in the moment. From the past posts that i have made i usually wrote about things that weren't so interesting. since i noticed that i was not as interested in the things that i was writing about i understood the changes that i needed to make. to make the changes and better my writing i began to look at other peoples post and make a similar post to that. there was a slight change in interest and seemed to change. for example, i noticed that there were many post between Karen Chavez and Rohksor Yusufi about jersey shore and people attempting to be “jersey”.

“she’s too dramatic and emotional and claimed that most females are fake that’s why she doesn’t have a girl best friend. I dislike her because she forgave Ronnie and started hating on Jwow.” (a quote from Karen’s blog.)

Within this quote from Karen's blog i can understand the feelings that derive from her and she is blogging. not only is she explaining and stating facts within her knowledge but, she is explaining her thoughts with much emotion. she includes words and signal of her taking interest into her blog entry. It is apparent that she takes much interest into her posts and it goes further than just another assignment to the class.

In reading and responding the posts from other people, I came up that many people wrote about person feelings and thoughts about things that really touched them. those people were using the blog as more than just an other assignment. the feelings they expressed made it a  Those are my favorite types of posts. I like to read and get informed about how a person strongly feels about something that they notice. other peoples post have helped me grow immensely. knowledge and experiences could be some of the greatest gifts to a person. Google reader is a miracle joining all posts. there have been so many times that i have come across someone Else's post that is so interesting and compelling. some of the posts included Elton. he began telling the story of his life and expressing his feelings. In one of his posts he explained about a relationship he stood in. in addition to the relationship post he included his feelings about the sudden death of our dearly beloved physical movement teacher. With that post i was able to feel the support and know how other felt about the horrible situation the school faced. Mr Sutherland was another person that commented about the situation and how he felt. this would not have been possible without the power of the blogs! The posts i related to gave me an better approach to the topic and encouraged me to post about it .
One of the major steps in the process of writing is revision. Revisions to a add and help the paper to better rewrite misleading parts to the reader. In other words, is polishing, polishing makes the essay and writing better, bumping it to another level. Bumping it to the next level.  Throughout the year when creating my posts on the blog I did not reread what and check for any mistakes and confusing sentences. one of my major mistakes included redundancy and clutter. i have improved on that and now have to begin to focus on writing without repeating myself.

Now a days many teens are having problems because of the society that they are living in. many things in a persons environment need to be changed and cause many problems for the people that live in them. For teens many problems get in their way and one of the only approach is to end the problem that they are having. And the way that people do that is by ending their lives. A community should have more resources for the teens in their.

Writing is one of the many things that can never be perfected, and understood by everyone. As a student writing is to get adjusted to and do it on a daily basis. A goal that i have ti improve my writing would be giving the reader straightforward, clutter less information. the main ideas need to be clear. By taking away unnecessary details it will lead to a better understanding of my writing.                  riting.

The book seems very interesting and something out of the usual. The book gives off a vibe that may drag your attention away and keep it! The book may show and relate to things that people face in daily lives. It is apparent that there is excitement and much drama. Can you relate to your book in any ways?you explain certain characteristics between the two sister. But soon you will need to get more specific which i bet it ont be any problem at all. Anyways, it seems very interesting.

the book seems interesting and familiar to you since you read some of the other books. since it is a sequel and has other books that relate to it explain more about that. The book gives off a vibe that may drag your attention in comparison to the other books similar to it.  The book may show and relate to things that people face in daily lives. It is apparent that there is excitement and things that interest you.you should expand more on your commentary. write more about what you get out of the book. i feel as if you are just explaining facts rather than more of how the information affects you. Make it personal.

Elizabeth
the book seems so different but interesting. wizards! ...now that is something that catches peoples attention. i really like how you get into explaining one of the characters thoroughly. not only do you explain who the person is in the story, but you go further in. you basically indirectly explain problems that the character faces about being a women thats a wizard, though i am a bit confused. since she has powers and is a woman isn't she automatically a witch? i also believe that the review would become a stronger if you were to elaborate on the second question a bit more.

basic book review rough draft

I am reading Charlie st. Cloud, by Ben Sherwood. The book tells the story of a young man facing dilemmas in life. More specifically problems centralizing in family and love. There are many interesting characters in my book. Ranging from the Charlie, his dead brother(a ghost that floats, communicates, and plays baseball with his big brother Charlie.), their mom, a lonely old widow, a fat man that makes sails and the list goes on. There is possibly one of everything in the book.
The one that pops out the most to me is, one of the main characters. Her name is Tess. Tess is the young woman in the story that thrills the readers and makes many unexpected turns. Tess makes the decisions you wouldn't think of doing. Not only is Tess the woman that thrills the readers of the book, but she also thrills Charlie the other main character. Charlie and Tess hit it off well and begin a complicated relationship.

When Tess was introduced, her character seems to be a cold-hearted person with one specific purpose in life. Tess held a purpose she was determined to accomplish, without allowing any interference.
For example, Tess as a young girl grew up boating without her father. Tess' father and her held that hobby and strong connection. When in the water Tess felt alive and truly herself. She felt as of she was bonding with nature. But as time passed her true passion with her father would break. Her father passed away and her alone, which is another story.

Tess had many moments where she needed to get out her stress and relieve being contained in a little city. Tess loved to sail along side her father she began was she was a young girl. Whenever Tess felt the need out lash onto the water. she did and did not want no one to rely upon. The waters she decides to boat in were dangerous. Not many decide to take the same . So why does Tess want to keep on going with her hobby? Tess faced a near death experience. from that experience she relized the dangers of her hobby and attempted to make a change. "Then the image from last night grabbed hold of her mind: querencia flipping over, the world investing. "JESUS" she said out loud sitting up. She rubbed a bruise on her forearm. She had definitely learned her lesson. "page (81)Instead of taking that experience to stop boating, she used it to change her personality. Tess became responsible and thought about others around her while she remained boating.

As soon as Tess arrived on land, she changed as person. One of the first things that she did was go to visit her father at the cemetery. Tess had regularly visited her farther in the past, but it suddenly stopped. Tess was not exactly sure what led her to end the frequent visits. she forgot about  her father, who she was extremely close to. As Tess spent moments in the cemetery, she recognized a familiar face of someone in her past. That familiar face was of Charlie st. Cloud. Tess did not hesitate one bit to approach and conversing, with Charlie once again. normally Tess would not approach him. She had not seen him since a few years, which made him a stranger in some levels. she did not give importance to the distance they had. Tess’s personality made a complete turn; from her own world to be being more open.
In addition, I have read many past similar novels such as the last song, and the lucky one, and the book seems to take a quite dissimilar route. The two other books specifically the last song, begins the story, and quickly builds on the main events climax. Charlie st. clouds begin with an important event and goes back to it. On the other hand, they are similar in the way that they both ended up being major motion picture novels. In addition to both being movies, they centralize the theme of a problem around family and result in solution involving others also known as "love".
Charlie st. Cloud is different from the past novels I have read. Some of the novels  include The Last Song, The Lucky One and many other by Nicholas Sparks.  the book differs in the way that the plot is built. The book begins with major important striking information, centralizing to the main point. It tells you what a person needs to know to understand the book. That major information is given  in the first couple of pages. As the book continues, it builds off what happened in the begining. In a way i find it that the book is moving backwards. Throughout the book there are many flash-forwards and the past events. the even that is most flash-backed to is what happens in the first few pages.
Knowing something so important in the beginning can change and vary the views of the readers. It may be helpful so a person can clearly understand the point of the book. The point is clear since the beginning so there is no way for the reader to get lost. In traditional books the points build on with every chapter.  While on the other hand, it decreases the level of thrill of knowing the main ideas while reading it. Some people may want to wait, read several events, go twist in the plot and have the most important parts on the end.  The book may go against the usual expectations of what a normal novel should look like. Towards the beginning of the book,
“Thirteen years had gone by since Charlie had first past come to waterside. Thirteen years had passed since the paramedics failed to revive his little brother. thirteen years had vanished since Sam was buried in a small coffin near the Forest of shadows. Thirteen Octobers. Thirteen world series. Thirteen years keeping the promise.”( Page 46).
In my opinion, the book may be different it is well written. The book thrills and excites the readers well. nearly at  part of the main of the book but it gives background information prior. There is more than one climax. the events are well incorporated, which keeps the book interesting. The book is uniquely great!

There are several commonalities within blog posts. The most apparent of the commonalities includes family. Every vignette has weaved the thought some how. Even though the actual event and idea conveyed through the story may differ, the vignettes points are similar. Everyone has or experienced something similar to a family at least once in life. And family is one of those things that people can always remember and that has meaning to it. Everyone’s family may be different and have nothing in common in plain sight but in reality it is almost identical. A family is people joined together to form a bond and serve to assist each other through events. People overcome many events and obstacles, while also facing many enjoyable and memorable moments.

By now, I can see who those people are. It is my cousin and his family. My cousin belongs to my mother’s side of the family branch. His mother and my mother are siblings. They are a family of four. First is the second child, Stroy, a fat and perhaps stubborn as well as spoil. Second is the third child, Kong. Kong is smaller and younger than Stroy and he is more obedient than Stroy when given orders. Kong is like a monkey while Stroy is like big fat fluffy cat.

Nails are important to the girls in my family. “They say a lot about a person,” my dad once told us. He looked my nails and frowned. “Your mother, when she was alive, used to take great care of her nails. I remember she painted them pink.” The he left the room.
-Kaisia kathryn metwoswki
The two-blog posts have almost nothing apparently similar. However, when digging a little deeper it is apparent they hold the same idea and just put different accessories to build their story.  The two stories are unique in the perspective in the way where one talks about nails and how important they may be to her family, while another one talks about the different people to build the family. The stories both give major details to show how people are unique in their family and bring across how it makes their family special.
