wiki leaks responce

Yazen began by stating and informing the reader on what he thought and his opinion the side that he stood on. Yazen's point on the topic was clear since the begging, but what was it that he was stating and defending? there was not a true introduction to his claims that ended up hooking a person. without the hook and enough information for a reader to understand it was unclear what was the purpose for what yazen was backing up and defending. those critical things are necessary to make a debate strong, and to end up persuading a reader and a person on the opposite side. while their was some backgound information missing the way that words and voice that the infomation was in a way informal. the language in which the dabate was introduced was unprofessional in many points. Such thing included things as "Yeah, so what." "gonna" "wanna" when a paper begins to move and drift into a direction with words it leads to some people and the reader confused in the way where they may not understand the points they are giving.

the ending points can be changed in not ending with a questions and a way where in a way it led into a new topic, and drifted. the way where t ended made the post less persuasive.

overall the points that were given in the opening statement were clear and was persuasive leading to the reader wondering at points and wanting to learn more and new information. with a few small changes at points it can make the post a bit more persuasive and to make more sense.

The Color Purple, Cellies letter to God

In the book the color purple, Cellie the main character spends time writing many, many letters to God. Cellie is a fir believer of religion and that of the Spirit, it becomes apparent in the book, that Cellie feels something important and something relevant to herself, her life and to God. Cellie does not only make great use of the letters going to God, but she uses the book as a resource for herself to look back upon and reflect in her life. The letters tend to reflect and explain the feelings and the main points in her life, probably with much further detail and emphasis than what she really felt and how the events happened. The way that Cellie writes the book make her seem as she is having a verbal direct conversation with somebody as here in the book she is having to whom she believes is God. Cellie leaves nothing behind in the book or it seems that way in how the book is written. It seems that nothing is left behind, having strong language and the dramatic events that are happening. Whether the book not is censored because of the feelings that they bring to reader and gives more of an emphasis to dramatize the book, or because that is how things happen, but the it seems as though the main the character perceives the events in the way that are portrayed in the book.

Through how the book is written, Cellie is seen as a person that is very strong who happens to go through life changing events as something very ordinary in her life. In the beginning of the book, Cellie is raped by her father twice and goes through having her mother die. As for a person not as strong in comparison to Cellie, those two events could lead to life filled with hatred for the world and depression. But, that is not the case with Cellie, in her case it only made her stringer and made her want to be better and keep going in life to serve as something better. Cellie helps and want to protect her sister and not allow her father to take advantage and do the same thing that she did with her. In one part of the book towards the middle Cellie opens up in a small way, admits, and makes it 100% clear that she too believes she is a strong person.

“Six boys, six girls. All the girls big and strong like me.”(Walker, 41) Cellie reflects on herself and she knows what type of person she is, she knows that she is strong, she not only uses the letters for God, and she uses them for herself in part with her self-esteem.

WIKILEAKS

Wiki leaks is a great place to find information that may be necessary for a person to feel comfortable in their place where they stand and in their country. without knowing what people in the government are doing throught the time that they working, a person can be confused and may not have any knowledge about the situation that is happening. such as what a persons work, state and federal taxes are put to use for! unnecessary things can be happening with a persons money, and that person could disagree with what is happening. people in the united states such be able to process what the people in the government are doing! as one of my fellow pupils stated that wiki leaks is something that later leads to distrust with people and their government! i have to respond to that and state that people should be able to loose the trust that they  have in their government if it shouldn't be their in the first place.

A government in the new era is to serve the people, in most places. the government is not helping the nation by having people and money to support entertainment for old nasty men with little kids dancing. wiki leaks helps to support the people and strengthen their power while limiting the governments power. Wiki leaks is just like any other resource available to people such as the newspaper or the internet. the only difference between wiki leaks and other things and information such as the internet is that wiki leaks gives hidden information to the people, while the newspaper does the same thing. a newspaper gives valuable information, which also may be classified. A newspaper is not criticized and seen to be as something that helps people and so should the wikileaks process and things on wiki leaks internet webiste. the government found wiki leaks to be a threat and to show the flaws in the prcess of the government, they shut and found the person in charge of the wiki leaks to be a traitor while all he was doing was impowering the  people that lived in the country and wanted to  know special information about the government that may be classified. people in the government should put the wikileaks.org website should be placed back on the internet and not give reason for the their citizens to find infortion and lose distrust in them! a Government is for the people and should back them up not go agaisnt their back!

I am responding to a response about a response to what someone posted about being scene. This whole topic and whole process/ debate and argument is going to the nest level! People are going into the extreme to get their point across when they gave it in the beginning and had it written across their whole writing.

If you take scene so seriously, then why won't you let it spread so that everyone can get to know these types of people and know that it is a beautiful thing to be? Why are you not allowing for other people to try and achieve this look because I say that if it is what they want to look like, then they should go for it. However, I know how you feel because I understand how part of this is about biters and you best believe I would slap a biter because they piss me off. So why can't people just be scene but attempt to be original while achieving this look?

I understand that if someone just straight up wants to copy you then you can call them a "poser". But isn't that basically a compliment if someone likes your look so much that they feel like they must have it? Anyways it's not like a scene/emo person was born with teased hair, eyeliner, and ripped jeans and band tees on. On Rokhsor last sentence she talks about originality, How can someone be original when they classify a specific look for you that plenty of others have? If you wear for example regular skinny jeans, white flats, and a purple shirt but you have the hair and make up, some people don’t classify you as scene/emo because emos wear dark colors like black and grey and scene people wear vans, flats, converse, etc. and ripped jeans/fishnets and bright neon colors. How can u be expected to be original when people tell you what to wear or have?

All they were saying in their own way was that people decide to dress in a style that wants them to be classified as but they want to have their own twist and way to change it and be very out there ad different in comparison to others. Does it really matter what people wear and how they dress? Isn’t it their own problem and business what they look like and you as a person (whoever is speaking bout them) have no reason to judge or call them wanna be’s they do what they want!

And yeah a person can be original if they want to be classified as something its just the way they want it to be! No one should deprive a person to choosing how they want to be seen and or how they want to dress! They want to look a specific way but be different to what a person may expect them to be!

Elite College and universities VS normal Collleges

This is a  big complicated debate, it seems to be that is one of them most hated and most people poking debates that we have done as a complete and whole class this year. A person who graduated from an elite and prestigious colleges is not any better or should be considered better than any person that completed the same or similar program and graduated with the same base amount of units, credits and Grade point average in other colleges. The eductaion vbasis includes that of going to a community college and earning an associate degree and transferring as a junior to any university. Transfering from a community college will lead to earning the same amount of credits as beginnning and workign from a four year college. An elite university is just another way to exaggerate and be able to bring bragging rights to people. It would bring another way to people to brag; those people that would brag would be people that can afford high cost and price schools against to those people that may be equally as smart and have to same potential in life.

An arguement that people begin and state, is the oppurtbities after graduating given to those students who were able to attend elite schools. People state there are greater and better oppurtunities granted People attending normal university or state universities may have the same potential in school to those in an elite university while not having the money to be able to afford the university that they wish to attend.

I stand in a place where if I would find an elite college to have a fit program that I may benefit from to help me focus son my needs in my major and educational I would gladly attend and an earn a degree there, but it would not make me any better than others. Many small universities that people may not know to be part of the prestigious, elite schools that have recourses and better programs than those offered at special high elite universities. Such as a person that may be seeking in the specialty in becoming and having a professional degree.
There are many smalls and schools unknown to people around the country that rank highly are the top among other bigger better schools. Such schools include that of Univeristies in california. One of the best examples is San Francisco state Univeristy a very small school going agaisnt the odds and placing 5th in school of medicine for primary care. Univeristy of San francisco stands at a better position than HARVARD. UC Davis may be know to have great programs relating in the specifics of their Letters and Science, Pre-med and Veterinary department. UC Davis stood amont the second in the nation in its school of Veterinary Medicine. UC Davis is also string in its School of Law ranking twentieght in the nation. UC Davis School of medicine has been ranked among the top 20 schools for primary care training and the top fifty schools for research. Another high ranking and impressive school is UC San Diego being ranked in 2009 as the third best public univeristy by World Universities conducted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China along side and below UC Berkeley considered a big high prestigious university.

Persuasive

In my opinion, the most persuasive person and writing was close in the race, but it came down to having sufficient background knowledge and having numbers to back up what the person was thinking. Richard kohlehnberger not only had a strong point and thought but he had things and information back up what he was explaining. Richard brought in the information of the payment between the colleges with the specific amount of 92, 000 dollars for an elite IVY LEAGUE College or university and in comparison to 12,000 dollars to a less expensive college that may be lower in cost but offer the same and equal education rights. Even though some may disagree with the points and the information that he was giving but he had specific and sited numbers in his paragraph/writing.

Kevin Gary on the other hand had a less convincing paragraph because of the type of writing that he was giving. Kevin decided to use and give his ideas to people by using a less professional level to get his point through. In his writing he included many little parts which had some way of sarcasm in it. the sarcasm brings the reader to think differently and may make them not want to keep reading.

“ If you're among the small handful of students who have stellar SAT scores and parents with several hundred thousand dollars to spend, you should seriously consider going to an elite college or university.

They're nice places to hang out for four years and you'll probably learn a few things. Even if you don't, you'll still get a piece of paper signifying that you were smart enough to get in and rich enough to pay for it. People care about stuff like that.” That's unfortunate. While there's little difference among elite colleges in the grand scheme of things - Princeton, Brown, tomato, tomahto - it's a real problem when students enroll in colleges that do a poor job of teaching them and helping them graduate, as many do.

–Kevin Gary

There is no necessity for Kevin to give his point without any specific citing. Kevin did not include concrete numbers and he was not very persuasive.
